Snarkology Halloween Blog Hop 2015

Mabon is upon us. For those who don’t know, Mabon coincides with the Autumnal Equinox and is a mid-harvest festival. It’s a time of dark and light finding balance, of honoring our seasons. It’s also the time to celebrate the stability of hearth and home. These themes are ran strongly through my head as I wrote scenes with Azurine, Scarlett, and Amber&women from a long line of witches and with strong powers of their own.

While I’ll never wear a Pagan hat upon my head, I do believe in good energy and positive thoughts. So for Mabon, I’ll be burning a green candle nestled deep in a bowl of soil with a single iron nail placed inside. I’ll say a prayer for my home and my family, I’ll say another for safety during the coming winter, and give thanks for the abundance of the harvest.

And I might just go back and read about a young witch who finds her soul mate in a wolf shifter named Pup.

GIVEAWAY: Tell me what your favorite season is and why in a comment below, and I’ll pick one lucky person for a $10 Amazon giftcard. Easy, right? Have at it.

Merry meet and merry part.
